CARPINETO CHIANTI CLASSICO

Carpineto Chianti Classico is a full-bodied, complex red wine made from traditional Tuscan grape varietals including a majority of Sangiovese and some Canaiolo and Colorino. It is produced by Carpineto, a family-run winery in the historic Chianti Classico area of southern Tuscany from grapes grown in vineyards on the hills of Greve, Radda and Panzano. The vineyard's soils are characterized by clay, a unique breeding ground for a range of top-quality varietals. This Chianti Classico has a classic nose of ripe cherry and raspberry fruit, with herb and floral notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth with balanced tannins and layers of dark-berry flavours and nuances of leather and tobacco.
