The whisky is distilled in copper pot stills, matured in oak casks and then finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. The nose is notes of delicate oak, sherry, nutty sweetness, and touches of apple, cinnamon, and honey. The palate is sweet and spicy, with notes of Sherry, toffee, hazelnuts, raisins, vanilla, and charred wood. The finish is long, smooth, and slightly woody.
