1800 Silver Tequila

1800 Silver Tequila is a 100% blue agave tequila that was launched in 1989. It is made in Jalisco, Mexico by the prestigious Tequila Cuervo La Rojeña Distillery, the world's oldest tequila distillery. The name Silver Tequila is derived from the "silver"-coloured hands of the pickers harvesting the agave, which is the key ingredient in tequila. The silver-coloured hands of the pickers harvesting the agave gave this tequila its name.

The tequila is double-distilled and aged in stainless steel tanks for up to four months. This lengthy aging process gives this tequila its distinct smooth and mellow taste. Its signature flavour is created by the slow roasting process of the mature agaves, making for an ideal sipping and mixing tequila.

The brand offers two barrel-aged tequila expressions, an Añejo and a Reposado. Both expressions have a smooth taste that is balanced with many notes to explore. The Añejo offers hints of caramel and almond with a woody finish, while the Reposado provides notes of butterscotch and hazelnut with a touch of sweet pepper.
